History of the Diocese of St. Paul/ARC Movement The ARC Movement was created to provide shelter and sustenance to "movements to Jesus" among people groups worldwide. It was originally incorporated in the State of Alabama as the Questnet-USA Community of Churches, a non-profit religious organization. We sought and were granted tax-exempt status under Section 501c3 of the IRS Code of the United States. Thus all contributions and gifts to ARC are tax-exempt in the USA. In order to further refine our mission, the leadership team of ARC met in Pittsburgh, PA, in November, 2005. At this meeting, we adopted The ARC Statement and the ARC Apology found elsewhere on this site. We also asked the Rt. Rev. Joseph Lee to be our founding bishop. Bishop Lee graciously accepted, and assumed leadership of the movement. On January 2, 2006, Bishop Lee ordained Linda Moon as Deacon, and on July 22, 2006, he ordained Linda as Priest. On March 5, 2007, Archbishop Dr. Russell McClanahan, of the Province of St. Peter of the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches Received the ARC Movement as a body into the CEEC as the Diocese of St. Paul, received Bishop Lee as a Diocesan Bishop, and consecrated Rev. "Timothy" as bishop. At the present time, the ARC Movement/Diocese of St. Paul consists of congregations in Birmingham, Alabama, Bakersfield, California, and in multiple locations in Asia. |
